The polish air hostess Zofia has an overnight stopover in copenhagen before her next fligt. She meets the danish waiter Kasper in the hotel restuarant, and he insists they hit the town. Zofia lets herself be persuaded, but the night doesen’t turn out how either of them expected, a film about the painfulness of changing your ways - about a woman who rather leave then be left behind. In Transit pays tribute to the curage it takes to admit that you’re lonely.
